Night and morning skincare routine! :D

Skin care routine

Hello everyone! I am so sorry for posting this so late! My school has started so I have been caught up in a few things.

Before I get started I'll tell you about my skin and the problems I have for which I use this routine. This is something I use and it may not affect or work for everyone. I have a combination skin which means it is dry overall but my t-zone tends to get oily. I also have sensitive skin so I use milder products and formulas. I don't get acne (Allahumdulilah) just 1-2 pimples in a month rarely and they disappear quickly too.
This is quite a simple routine yet its time consuming and consistency is key!

Night time routine:

I start off with a makeup free face. The first thing I do is a Korean double cleansing method. Koreans have amazing skin and this is their secret. In double cleansing you are supposed to first use an oil to massage your face and neck then use a warm washcloth to wipe it off followed by any cream cleanser.

I use coconut oil and massage it for 2-3 minutes, then wet the washcloth in warm water and spread it over your face for a minute the gently rub it off.

For the second part I use the ponds flawless white naturals foaming cleanser. Ponds is a great line specially for desi skin. The ponds naturals is not harsh at all and removes all traces of oil and impurities. You can  use any cleanser you like.

After cleansing I moisturize my face which is really important as the skin is in its repairing mode during the night time and so you need to prep it well for that. I use a mixture of conaturals advanced super revitalize night cream and the Palmers skin therapy oil (you can also use bio oil).
The skin therapy oil fights wrinkles, pigmentation, scars, dark spots etc.

People in Pakistan barely pay attention to their under eye area which is why the under eye creams are never in sight in departmental stores and when you ask for them they don't even know what youre talking about. I have dark circles and really dry under eyes so I use olive oil around my eyes at night it lightens the skin and is the best moisturizer.

Day time routine:

Obviously when I wake up I wash my face and I use the same ponds flawless white foaming face wash and I instantly jump to my sunblock. A lot of you messaged me complaining about skin discoloration, dark spots, never fading tan. All of them have one answer which is a sunblock. Even if your skin is perfect you still need to apply sunblock religiously because the UV rays are the most dangerous radiation for skin, they cause early aging, pre mature scarring like if you have a cut which couldve healed well the UV rays will make a permanent scar and can lead to skin cancer (melanoma). Scary right?!
The sunblock I use depends on the activity I am doing like if I am going swimming ill use the waterproof one. If the day is really humid or if I am in a place like Karachi I would use the medicated one but for everyday use its the neutrogena ultra sheer spf 50. While choosing your sunblock look at the spf number and make sure its a spf 25 and above because we like in a country where the sun is closer to us and mostly hot.
I then use a BB or CC cream for light coverage it hides the redness and pores if you want a heavier coverage you can use your foundation instead.
The CC cream I am currently using is the eveline magical CC cream.

Last but not least I use the body shop vitamin E eye cubes under my eyes, it fights dark circles and puffiness and is easy to use just one swipe.

I hope this helped you guys! If you have any questions inbox me! <3

The color burst balm era!

So I recently came across this product called colour burst balm. I was hesitant to buy it but when I did I fell in love with them! They are super moisturising with the perfect amount of pigmentation that you can build by applying layers on your lips or keep it as natural as you like. The best part is that they contain lip therapy oils which gets rid of dark lips and chapped lips.

Cลnatural product review! ๐Ÿ’•

Hello everyone! So I discovered conatural products through instagram, a few months ago a karachi based page shared some photos of their launch but I didn't quite know where I could get them and I recently stumbled upon their products in the Shaheen Chemist stores located in f-10 and f-7.

This is Pakistan's first all natural skin care line! Their products promise all natural ingredients which won't harm your skin and proven results so obviously I chose to indulge into it! (Which patriotic, skin loving Pakistani wouldnt?) ๐Ÿ’š

Just a disclaimer for everyone I have a combination / dry skin type. My over all body is really dry but my t-zone area tends to get oily also my skin is super sensitive. I have a thin layering of skin and my skin Color is medium fair. So what might work for me, may or may not work for everyone else.

The first product is the Better than ubtan face and body scrub. It stimulates the skins microcirculation while gently exfoliating your skin. When you open the box there is a container of a powdered mixture and conatural radiance oil. You are suppossed to mix the desired amount together (mentioned on the box) along with some fresh yoghurt/milk and cream. I use it after every 2-3 days and I've already started to notice a huge difference on my entire body, my skin in more radiant and the tired look has vanished. It's a must have for brides! It promises to transform your skin within weeks! After I get out of my shower, my skin feels softer than a baby's bum :P Probably my Favorite product!

Price: 2160

The second product I purchased was the Ultra body butter. This is by far the most moisturising yet fast absorbing body butter I have ever come across and I love the smell of it too! I would definatly recommend this if you have dry skin! I use it every single day and my skin is hydrated until my next shower just from a single application!
Price: 2052

The third product of this line is the instant glow face mask it comes with a radiance oil as well! It promises to instantly brightens whitens and refreshes tired skin. I have noticed that my fave does feel brighter after I used it. You're suppossed to add yoghurt to its powder along with directed amount of radiance oil.  I dislike the smell of it though so I really have to work myself up to use it. But trust me, it works wonders on your skin!

Price: 2160

Now night creams are to me more essential than day creams since your skin goes into its repairing mode during the night time and so it's important as to what you're putting on it since its a part of the process to wake up to better looking skin! And this advanced super revitalise whitening cream is perfect for me, it super hydrating but it's not oily or greasy if your massage it in properly, my skin feels soothed as I put this on because of its gel like formula!

Price: 1944

Last but not least coming to their most talked about hair oils! The instant luster and the instant growth hair oil. You can use them separately as you like but it's suggested to use them together, the hair growth oil on your roots and the luster oil on the lengthy of your hair. Now I don't know about my hair growth since its too soon to judge but the texture of my hair is perfect now thanks to these oils! They make your hair so so so so so soft yet bouncy and silky at the same time! Very easy to wash off and they smell pretty good too. The best thing about them is that you're not suppossed to leave it over night just wash it off after 4 hours maximum. So your pillow cases won't get harmed! :P

Hope you guys liked this review and maybe had some help through it. :)  Stay tuned for more!

Xoxo, Mariam!

A little about myself....

Hello everybody! My name is Mariam Bashir Chaudhary, 17 years young, pure punjabi (eating habbits included :p), and a die hard beauty enthusiast! I am about to start my AS level in Beaconhouse Margalla Campus Islamabad (BMI) and for the time being plan to become a doctor (InshaAllah). Other than an obsession for makeup I am a die hard animal lover, always hanging out with my friends and I eat like a man hungry for 10 years finally given food (guilty :O).

I also actively participate in public speaking such as MUNs in the small circle of debates in Islamabad and I have recently started chairing them too! :D I love to act, I've participated in lots of school plays and hope to find myself someday in the Pakistani media on the big screen! Dreaming big right?!

I am an impulsive shopper (yikes!) so look forward to loads of hauls! My interest in makeup, fashion and skin care begin very young, I was 11 and so I have around 6 years of training myself through different blogs and youtube videos! My favorite blogger is Zoella, she is a petite cheerful British youtuber and her videos just give me life!

I hope my blog entertains and guides all the people who choose to read it and maybe I can teach you a thing or two I have learned through my experiences with different products and if you have any questions related to a certain product, hair, skin, clothing or you want me to review something for you just let me know and I will get to it!

                                                                                                    xoxo, Mariam! <3
